This page contains information about our boat, which we recently bought and are starting to restore. We found the boat in a used car lot and instantly knew that we had to buy it. Although we are not sure what type it is, but looking at old catalogs we believe it is a 1965 Glastron Futura 500

It has a Volvo B20 engine and a Volvo Penta drive, but we think it not OEM equipment. If you know what engines came with the boat, please let us know by using the email link below.

It has now been sitting in our garage most of winter but now with spring coming soon, it will get an engine overhaul, new comm equipment, a stereo system and a towbar.

We posted this page to the web the 10. of november 1999 but more detailed pages about our restoration project will be posted as we go along.
